The Way of Love Fitness LLC was developed as a means to empower others to grow in the knowledge and love of God and themselves. Our mission is to facilitate an atmosphere of receiving and a participation of encounter with God through awareness of one's mind, body and spirit in Christ. This encounter through experiential worship linking our breath, the practice of meditation and movement in the body, actively demonstrates our value of a culture rooted in love, growing in virtue, while in community.

Hello, I’m Danielle, a mother of 5, wife to 1 and child of God. I work as an Integrative Health Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Pediatric Psychiatric nurse with additional specialty focus on trauma-informed fitness and wellness for individuals and families. My passion is to help individuals build strength, resilience, and overall well-being through fitness strategies that honor both the body and mind.


With over 25 years of experience in fitness and healthcare, I understand that physical health is deeply intertwined with mental and emotional well-being. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or navigating the complex relationship between your mind, body and spirit, I offer a compassionate, personalized approach that respects your unique journey.


I specialize in creating fitness classes and plans that are not only effective but also mindful of the impact that our histories and lived experiences can have on the body. I take a gentle, holistic approach that prioritizes healing and empowerment, integrating trauma-sensitive methods that promote safety, trust, and body awareness. My intention is to accompany you to move confidently toward your fitness goals, no matter where you are in your healing process.


My Approach:

  • Trauma-Informed or Presence-Minded Care: I understand the importance of creating a safe, supportive environment where you can explore movement at your own pace. I work with you to ensure that every session feels empowering and aligned with your comfort levels. Trauma may be defined as a lack of presence when an event or experience occurred beyond which we had the capacity to process.
  • Personalized Fitness Plans: Each client’s fitness journey is unique. Together, we’ll create a plan that aligns with your current state of health, integrating a fitness practice that promotes both healing and strength.
  • Holistic Health & Wellness: Fitness isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about a condition, being physically fit and healthy or suitable AND an ability; fit for a particular role or task. I help you address all aspects of wellness, including the physical (strength, endurance, flexibility) and maintaining a general state of wellness in how we are created by support of other pillars such as nutrition, relaxation and sleep.  The intention is the way to consistently achieve lasting results in a sustainable way.
  • Gentle Movement & Body Awareness: I offer a variety of exercise options that prioritize mindfulness, body awareness, and gradual progress. Whether it’s restorative yoga, low-impact strength training, or breathing exercises, I tailor every session to honor your unique needs and abilities.
  • Empowerment through Education: Understanding how the body works and how we can support it through evidence-based best practices in intellectual, physical, social, emotional, occupational and spiritual health is a key component of my approach. I provide education and support to help you make informed decisions about your fitness and well-being.

Outside of my work with clients, I enjoy daily adventures with my family, traveling to foreign lands, and supporting other community initiatives that focus on building others up in an integrated way.  My passion for presence-minded care extends beyond fitness, and I’m committed to supporting individuals in creating lasting positive change in their lives.

About Holy Yoga:

Worship is always central to a Holy Yoga class, as the meditative focus is upon God through the persons of the Trinity as revealed through Biblical scripture. Holy Yoga classes encompass the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. You will be given knowledge, Scripture upon which to meditate, and physical practices in order to condition your body. You will have an opportunity to deepen your prayer life.
